Infographic and Bible Box Set Packaging
The Bible is the most popular book in history, yet a majority of people have never read it. The book's popularity yet lack of thorough study has led many beliefs to spread that are not true. To combat common misconceptions about the Bible, this infographic addresses 8 common beliefs in a style that is approachable and easily digestible - essential for the intimidating nature of religious topics.
To draw the attention of non-Christians in urban cities, the infographic strays away from common Christian design styles and opts for a bold, flat, graphic look. Religion can be a sensitive subject for many and often comes across as aggressive by nature. To prevent an intimidating style, typography is friendly and rounded, and colors are approachable blue and green hues.
To organize the information-heavy content, each topic was given a horizontal band containing a callout word, a misconception quote, and an explanation paragraph explaining the truth in a matching color. Utilizing similarity and proximity assisted with separating each topic. To control the order of information read by viewers, topics were organized vertically and callout words were arranged in a diagonal eye-line from top-left to bottom-right, mimicking the direction of reading.
Gradients intertwined with geometric patterns were added for depth and visual interest, bleeding off the page on alternating sides to create balance and symmetry within the composition, also starting on top-left and ending on bottom-right to start and finish the piece.
As an extension of the Righteous Reality infographic, there needed to be a next step for audiences who desired to learn more about the bible after seeing the infographic. The Righteous Reality Bible and Journal set was created to provide study materials to those with little to no experience with the bible.
The package includes a bible, study journal, memory verse bracelets, tips on how to study the bible, and Righteous Reality brand stickers (because who doesn't love stickers?). The study journal and informational study cards are particularly important for this piece, as those are the resources that new Bible scholars need when first starting out.
The box was designed vertically to mimic the layout of a book with patterns on the exterior of the box representing the texture of book pages. The box then opens like a book cover, with an inside that was crafted to make everything easy to access, with ribbon pull-outs for the books and staging that allows each item to be seen from the top view.
Bible study doesn't have to be boring, overwhelming, or intimidating. The Righteous Reality Bible and Journal set is an exciting, approachable, and colorful way to guide users as they learn more about what the Bible really says.
